Today I’m attend my wife’s grandmother funeral. All relative and some acquaintances gathered to give last respect to the old woman. She’s 86 and died at his 3rd daughter’s house. What I’m feeling sad is not because of my wife’s grandmother passed away.
Is because the people around who gathered at her house not to give their last respect, more or less are just like hanging out with some friend. There are group sitting talking about football, jokes, sometime they are laughing. Some group I can’t here what they are saying but, they are so busy talking. Sometimes have small laugh and smiling.
I’m sure they are not talking anything to do with my wife’s grandmother. This thing happen almost every funeral I’m attending. What happen to the good old days people really comes, sincerely give theirs last respect so the dead can rest in peace.
